Not recommended in routine evaluation or management of diabetes mellitus (DM). Combined testing with Glutamic Acid Decarboxylase Antibody (GAD) (2001771) and IA-2 Antibody (insulinoma antigen 2) (0050202) improves diagnostic sensitivity in suspected cases of type 1 DM.
