Limited phenotyping panel, using peripheral blood or bone marrow, to enumerate and characterize chronic lymphocytic leukemia cells (CD5+ monoclonal B-cells) in patients with previously established diagnosis of CLL. If no prior flow immunophenotyping has been performed, order Leukemia/Lymphoma Phenotyping Evaluation by Flow Cytometry (3001780).

Whole Blood or Bone Marrow in Green (Sodium Heparin), Lavender (K2EDTA)

Specimen Preparation

Transport 3 mL Whole Blood or Bone Marrow. (Min: 1 mL) Do not freeze.

Storage/Transport Temperature

Room temperature. Also, acceptable: Refrigerated. Specimen should be received within 24 hours of collection for optimal cell viability.
