Molecular test to confirm a phenotypic diagnosis of von Willebrand disease (VWD) types 1, 2A, 2B, 2M, 2N, or 3. May also be used as carrier screening for autosomal recessive forms of VWD.

Testing is not New York state approved. Specimens from New York clients will be sent out to a New York state-approved laboratory.

Lavender (EDTA) or yellow (ACD solution A or B).

Transport 3 mL whole blood. (Min: 3 mL)
New York State Clients: 5 mL (Min: 3 mL)
