Plain red, serum separator tube (SST) or lavender (K2EDTA).
Specimen Preparation
Transfer 0.3 mL serum or plasma to an ARUP standard transport tube. (Min: 0.1 mL) Test is not performed at ARUP; separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.
Storage/Transport Temperature
Refrigerated. Also acceptable: Room temperature or frozen.
