Specimen Preparation
Allow specimen to clot completely at room temperature. Separate from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection. Transport 1 mL serum in an ARUP Standard Transport Tube. (Min: 0.5 mL)

Interpretive Data
The reference interval for fasting c-peptide is 0.5-3.3 ng/mL. To convert to nmol/L, multiply ng/mL by 0.33.
