Patient Preparation
Collect
Plain Red or Serum Separator Tube (SST). Also acceptable: Lavender (EDTA) or Green (Sodium Heparin).
Specimen Preparation
Separate from cells within 1 hour of collection. Transfer 3 mL serum or plasma to an ARUP Standard Transport Tube and freeze immediately. (Min: 1 mL)
Test is not performed at ARUP; separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.

CRITICAL FROZEN.
