Preserve in enteric transport media (Cary-Blair) immediately (ARUP supply #29799) available online through eSupply using ARUP Connect™ or contact ARUP Client Services at (800) 522-2787. Also acceptable: Brucella broth, BHI, or equivalent with or without 10-20 percent glycerol.
Fecal specimens or swabs.

Culture negative for Helicobacter pylori.
Identification and susceptibility tests are billed separately from culture. Cultures positive for H. pylori will be sent for susceptibility testing to Mayo Medical Lab.
