Patient fast for 12 hours prior to collection is recommended.

Serum separator tube.

Specimen Preparation

Transfer 1 mL serum to an ARUP Standard Transport Tube. (Min: 0.5 mL)

Storage/Transport Temperature

Refrigerated.

Unacceptable Conditions

Plasma, Tissue or Urine. Grossly hemolyzed or lipemic specimens.
