Due to the manufacturer discontinuation of SPS tubes (ARUP Supply #24964) submit whole blood or bone marrow in a Bactec Myco/F Lytic bottle (ARUP supply #31916) as described in the specimen information below.

Current client stock of SPS tubes are acceptable for testing blood until supply is depleted, however ARUP Client Supply will only send the remaining stock of SPS Vacutainer tubes to clients for use for Legionella culture testing from blood.
