24-hour urine. Specimen must be refrigerated during collection. AND Plasma Separator Tube (PST) or Serum Separator Tube (SST), collected within 24 hours prior to the beginning of the 24- hour urine collection or within 24 hours after the urine collection is completed.
Specimen Preparation
Transfer one 3 mL aliquot from a well-mixed 24-hour urine collection AND 1 mL serum or plasma to individual ARUP Standard Transport Tubes (Min: 0.5 mL urine and 0.2 mL serum or plasma.
