Royal Blue (K2EDTA).

Specimen Preparation

Separate plasma from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection. Transport 1 mL RBCs in the original collection tube. (Min: 0.4 mL)
Test is not performed at ARUP; separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.

Storage/Transport Temperature

Refrigerated. Also acceptable: Room temperature.
