Patient Preparation
 
Collect
Serum separator tube (SST). Also acceptable: Lavender (EDTA).  
Specimen Preparation
Separate serum from cells within one hour. Transfer 1 mL serum to an ARUP Standard Transport Tube. (Min: 0.5 mL) Also acceptable: Plasma.  
Storage/Transport Temperature
CRITICAL FROZEN. Separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.
