- Lavender (EDTA), pink (K2EDTA), plasma preparation tube, or serum separator tube.
- Specimen Preparation
- Separate serum or EDTA plasma from cells within 4 hours. Transfer 1 mL serum or plasma to an ARUP Standard Transport Tube. (Min: 0.7 mL)
PPT: Separate plasma from cells within 2 hours. Transport 1 mL plasma in original container. (Min: 0.7 mL)

If Hepatitis C Virus RNA Quantitative bDNA is greater than or equal to 2.8 log IU/mL, then Hepatitis C Virus Genotype by PCR & Sequencing will be added. Additional charges apply.
