Transfer 4 mL urine to an ARUP Standard Transport Tube. (Min: 1.9 mL) Preservative-free urine specimens are recommended.
Test is not performed at ARUP; separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.

Storage/Transport Temperature

Refrigerated. Also acceptable: Frozen.

Unacceptable Conditions

Specimens preserved with Benzoic Acid. Specimens received room temperature.
