Confirm a prior infection with group A Streptococcus in patients suspected of having a nonsuppurative complication such as acute glomerulonephritis (AGN) or acute rheumatic fever (ARF). DNase-B (0050220) and streptolysin O (ASO) (0050095) antibody tests are generally ordered concurrently.

Serum separator tube. 
Specimen Preparation
Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection. Transfer 1 mL serum to an ARUP Standard Transport Tube. (Min: 0.4 mL)
