Collect

Random urine in sealed container.

Specimen Preparation

Immediately upon collection, mix and transfer 4 mL urine to an ARUP Standard Transport Tube. (Min: 0.3 mL) Do not expose to air.

Storage/Transport Temperature

CRITICAL FROZEN. Separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.

Unacceptable Conditions

Room temperature or refrigerated specimens.
