24-hour urine. Refrigerate during collection. Also acceptable: Random urine (no reference intervals).
Transfer 2 mL aliquot from a well-mixed 24-hour urine to an ARUP Standard Transport Tube. (Min: 0.5 mL)
Frozen.
Ambient: 2 hours; Refrigerated: 7 days; Frozen: 1 month

Per 24h calculations are provided to aid interpretation for collections with a duration of 24 hours and an average daily urine volume.
