24-hour urine. Refrigerate during collection. Also acceptable: Random specimens and urine supernate.  
Specimen Preparation
Transfer two 4 mL aliquots from a well-mixed 24-hour urine collection to individual ARUP Standard Transport Tubes. (Min: 4 mL) Record total volume and collection time interval on transport tube and test request form.
