Identify additional allogeneic red blood cell (RBC) antibodies with adsorption procedure that uses allogeneic RBCs to remove panreactivity. Test will be added by the laboratory, as needed, based on antibody identification testing results.

Patient Preparation
Test is performed on patients with warm autoantibodies who have been pregnant or transfused within the past 3 months. 
Collect
Plain red AND lavender (EDTA). 
Specimen Preparation
Do not freeze red cells.
Transport 10 mL whole blood (plain red) AND 7 mL whole blood (EDTA) in original collection tubes.
Pediatric: Transport 3 mL whole blood (plain red) AND 2 mL whole blood (EDTA) in original collection tubes. 
Storage/Transport Temperature
Refrigerated. 
Unacceptable Conditions
Separator or gel tubes.
